August 18th the magazine textile network published an interview with Prof. Dr. Robert Off about the sustainability of membrane construction. According to Prof. Dr. Robert Off, Director of the IMS BAUHAUS® Archineer® Institutes e.V., lightweight construction technology using membranes must become more functional.
The interview discusses questions about the economics of membrane construction today and its potential in the future, why competencies should be linked and the Professor’s vision of the "Bauhaus of the 21st century".
Prof. Dr. Robert Off is the head of studies of the only accredited master's program in membrane structures worldwide, which has been running at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau-Rosslau for 15 years now.
