IMS Bauhaus® Archineer® Institutes e.V.
The work of the institute aims at research, development and teaching of new construction methods, especially related to membrane and net constructions, shells and retractable structures.
As an international teaching platform, the institute is known for the worldwide unique Master (M.Eng) and Archineer® in Membrane Structures, a postgraduate course in the fields of membrane construction, textile, tensile and cushion structures, lightweight membranes and architectural fabrics. The program was carried out for 15 years in cooperation with Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau-Rosslau, Germany.
In order to do justice to the global climate development, the institute increasingly focuses on innovative energetic solutions of modern and future construction. Numerous members such as professors, students, teachers, physicists, craftsmen and computer scientists from all over the world form the basis for the creation of a forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge.
