at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences

IMS Bauhaus is a non-profit and independent institute, which is associated to the Anhalt University of applied Sciences in Dessau-Rosslau, Germany.  The work of the institute aims at research, development and teaching of new construction methods, especially related to membrane and net constructions, shells and retractable structures.

As an international platform and teaching institute, offering the worldwide unique Master (M.Eng) and Archineer®  in Membrane Structures, a postgraduate program in structural membrane design and engineering, textile-, tensile- and cushion constructions, lightweight membranes and architectural fabrics.

In order to do justice to the global climate development, the institute increasingly focuses on innovative energetic solutions of modern and future construction. Numerous members such as professors, students, teachers, physicists, craftsmen and computer scientists from all over the world form the basis for the creation of a forum for the exchange of experience and knowledge.
