Membrane: ETFE Atrium Cover

The ETFE-cushion structure covers an area of 405 m². It consists of 5 parallel arches, held in place by 3 cable trusses. Underneath, independent of the cushion there is a cable net with solar cells providing photovoltaic electricity. The intended shape of the solar cells will reflect the African Union logo to the ground of the atrium as well as into the sky at night.
