Company training program
The training program can either be attended partially parallel to the academic training course or individually composed as an internal company further education training program to obtain the Archineer M.St.

The course language is English. German language is possible for single company training courses.

The individual company training course will contain the same modules and condense of the 4 semester advanced training course, which is desribed below, in a much shorter time frame of less than one year.

Advanced training program (4 semester)

 

Since March 2006 the IMS organizes an international master course in Membrane Structures at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences in Dessau, Germany.

 

Beside the academic master program for Membrane Structures the IMS e.V. offers the possibility to participate in an advanced professional training program

 

 

“Archineer(R) Membrane Structures”.

 

 

(Archineer(R) is a protected, international registered trade mark, exclusively licensed through the IMS, granted to graduates of the Archineer® Membrane Structures course of the IMS only.)

 

 

Participants will be enroled as guest students of the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences for the duration of the advanced professional training program.

The course will be held together with the academic master program for Membrane Structures at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences.

The advanced professional training program is an international distant learning course which is held parallel to professional life. The lectures will be held in English language only. That’s why interested people from all over the world have the possibility to participate in the program. 

The lecturers, international specialists in the field of textile constructions, impart knowledge and proficiency to the students so that they are able to design, to calculate, to detail, to build and to keep textile constructions. The special economical and forensic basic conditions are also integrated.

Participants will be enroled as guest students at the Anhalt University of Applied Sciences for the duration of the advanced professional training program.

With successful completion of the advanced training course the licence of the title
Archineer(R) Membrane Structures (Archineer M.St.)
will be awarded by the Institute for Membrane and Shell Technologies e.V.

English language skills

Prior to the first attendance week an introductory course on structural engineering and on fundamental knowledge on structures takes place. The participation in the introductory course week is required to bring all students up to a similar level of knowledge so that they are able to follow the course content.

Duration of the advanced professional training program

The advanced training course is an international distant learning course which is held parallel to professional life. The duration of the course is four semester. It consists of three terms each containing one week-long phase of attendance (active weeks) and additional support via internet for the phases of distant learning. The fourth semester is dedicated to the final thesis.

Tuition fees

The participation in the advanced professional training program including the introductory course costs the whole amount of 6800 EUR.
